Dejan Lovren: "Now To Beat England And Walk Out Like A Boss"

Dejan Lovren looks a bit silly now following his comments earlier in the week after beating Spain.

So much for walking out like a boss...

After Croatia beat Spain in the UEFA Nations League to set up a decider against England, Lovren took to social media.

"Elbowed him good," the Liverpool defender said while making an elbow gesture in reference to a challenge on Ramos, who scored the equaliser in the game.

"Haha! 3-2! Go ahead and talk now, buddy. Buddy! They are a bunch of pussies," he added.

He then pointed to the Croatia flag on his shirt and said, "Only this side is worthy. Now to beat England and walk out like a boss!"

The former Lyon centre-back even posted the picture of the incident and captioned it: "Good Morning Croatia' on his Instagram to continue his war of words with Ramos.

From nearly booking a spot in the next round to relegation from League A.

Harry Kane sent Croatia to League B after a 85th minute winner. Second-half substitute Jesse Lingard leveled the fixture following Andrej Kramaric's opening goal.

England are in the UEFA Nations League semi-final alongside Portugal, Switzerland or Belgium and France or the Netherlands.
