Aston Villa Fan's Dream £300 Million XI Goes Viral

A wishful thinking Aston Villa together has put together a dream XI for next season.

The fan, who has the username @AstonVillaBible on Twitter, reckons the club will get at least £80 million if they decide to sell captain and star player Jack Grealish in the summer transfer window.

By their estimation, it means the Midlands club will have £300 million to spend on reinforcements and push towards challenging for a top four spot.

And while predicted XI's are always a bit ambitious, this one is a bit mental.

The fan thinks Pepe Reina will sign for the club permanently once his loan spell is done, while the defence remains the same apart from the addition of Brighton captain Lewis Dunk.

John McGinn and Marvellous Nkamba continue to anchor the midfield but then it starts to get silly. Martin Odegaard, on loan at Real Sociedad from Real Madrid, plays as a number ten - behind a front three of Dwight McNeil, Wilfried Zaha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

It's nice to have ambition but the "infrastructure and project" being talked about probably isn't enough to bring about such an expensive overhaul in one window.

In fact, the majority of fans in the replies are all in agreement that this is nothing more than a pipe dream Career Mode.
