Trent Alexander-Arnold's statistics from his La Liga debut with Real Madrid have come out and nobody can believe it.
Two months after his controversial departure from boyhood club Liverpool, Real Madrid defender Alexander-Arnold made his La Liga debut against CA Osasuna on Tuesday night.
The right-back joined the Spanish giants for in May, just weeks before his contract with the Premier League champions expired, for a reported fee of £10million.
Real Madrid agreed to pay the fee so that they could make use of Alexander-Arnold's services over the summer during the Club World Cup, where he had his official debut against Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.

The match against Al Hilal was certainly one to forget for the defender, and the stats from Tuesday's match against CA Osasuna suggest it may have been the same.

Thanks to a second-half penalty from Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid got their 2025/26 La Liga campaign off to a perfect start, winning the match against Osasuna 1-0.
Mbappe's goal ensured that he has started his first season under new manager Xabi Alonso just as he would have liked to, but stats from the match suggest that the same can't be said for Alexander-Arnold who clearly struggled.

After starting the game on the right side of Madrid's defence, Alexander-Arnold was replaced by club veteran Dani Carvajal in the 68th minute, with a match rating on Fotmob of only 6.9.
Across the match, Alexander-Arnold created just one chance, finding the target with only one of his seven crosses during the game and misplacing all four of the long balls he attempted.
In total, the right-back had 77 touches, with one coming in the opposition box, and made 10 passes into the final third.

Defensively, the England international's stats are equally unimpressive as he failed to even attempt a tackle during the match, while losing both of his ground duels.
He made only one ball recovery in the game and was dribbled past on one occasion.
With Carvajal producing more impressive stats both going forward and defending across his 22 minute cameo, some fans are already questioning Alexander-Arnold's place in the starting lineup.
Thankfully for the 26-year-old, he only has to wait until Sunday's away trip against Real Oviedo to try and silence his doubters.
