Chelsea star Jorginho was in stitches as AC Milan player vented over referee in post-match interview

AC Milan star Sandro Tonali went in the referee, while his Italy teammate Jorginho erupted in laughter.

Chelsea star Jorginho was caught laughing on camera as AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali fumed over the referee in his side's 2-0 defeat.

Former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori was controversially sent off after impeding Mason Mount in the 18th minute of the Champions League clash at the San Siro.

Mason Mount got in behind his ex teammate after a clever Reece James pass and Tomori put his hand on his shoulder.

Mount tried to stay on his feet and got his shot away but then referee Daniel Siebert awarded the penalty and brandished a straight red card for Tomori.

He and his teammates protested but the on-field decision stood despite appearing harsh.

The sending off proved to be a pivotal moment in the game and Tonali went in on the man in the middle during a post-match interview with Sky Sport Italia.

However, while he was venting, his Italy teammate Jorginho was preparing for an interview and couldn't help but giggle as he listened in with his headphones.

German official Siebert was very card happy, giving five yellow cards in the opening 45 mnutes.

A furious Tonali said it was "ridiculous" and "embarrassing" that so many free-kicks were awarded.

"There are so many incidents like that during a game. When you give a penalty and a red card after 18 minutes, for a touch like that," Tonali said, as per Football Italia.

“We may as well make it basketball where any touch is a foul. It felt like that anyway, we had several yellow cards for ridiculous, embarrassing free kicks in the first half alone.

“Anyway, we have to look at the rest of the game. We tried to play with pride and passion, even if it was very difficult in the circumstances.

“It’s disappointing for all the fans who came here tonight, packed the stadium and expected a different match. We thank them for coming.

“There are two games to go, everything is still to play for. We need to win, that is all we can do, without looking at penalties and red cards. It is still in our hands."

Chelsea lead Group E with seven points from four games, with Milan down in third on four points. The Rossoneri's next Champions League fixture is away to Dinamo Zagreb on 25 October, with Chelsea travelling to Red Bull Salzburg.
