AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign one of Ruben Amorim's former players at Manchester United, according to reports.
Amorim, who was sacked by United in January following a turbulent 14-month spell, is set to replace Massimiliano Allegri at AC Milan after agreeing to become their next head coach on a two-year deal.
It will be his first managerial role since leaving Old Trafford.
Amorim, meanwhile, has been tasked with turning fortunes around in Milan after they failed to qualify for the Champions League following a fifth-place finish in Serie A.

The Italian side will be expected to make a splash in the summer transfer market and, according to journalist Nicolò Schira, they have been offered the chance to sign Manuel Ugarte from Manchester United.
"No talks ongoing yet but just a proposal," added Schira.
Of course, Amorim worked with Ugarte before Manchester United, when he was manager at Sporting Lisbon.
Whether the Portuguese coach will want to be reunited with the midfielder for a third spell is another question. The 25-year-old struggled for minutes under Amorim during the 2025-26 campaign.
Back in November, Amorim urged a struggling Ugarte to improve in training.
"You are here longer than me and you can sense that a lot of very good players come here and sometimes they struggle,’ Amorim said. "He (Ugarte) is struggling in the moment, but it is our job to try to help our players and again, everything can change.
"You saw it five weeks ago, the environment was completely different, so I know that Ugarte is struggling in the moment, and my job is trying to help him to feel as a player, like I felt when he was a Sporting player, for example.
"But it is a different world and he needs to adapt and he needs to improve, especially in training."

What has Manuel Ugarte said about his future?
Ugarte was heavily linked with a move in January. Galatasaray and Juventus were said to be keen but in March, the midfielder said he wanted to fight for his place at Old Trafford.
After being asked about his lack of opportunities ahead of Uruguay's friendly against England, he said: "It sounds like a cliche, but it’s what you learn the most from There are hardly any players who play every game, maybe only [Real Madrid star] Fede Valverde.
"It’s something you have to learn to deal with, and it’s part of the career. I’ve learned a lot, and I know my opportunity will come."
