A furious Victor Osimhen asked to be subbed off during Nigeria's Africa Cup of Nations clash against Mozambique, just moments after squaring up to teammate Ademola Lookman.
Nigeria secured their place in the quarter-final of this year's AFCON as goals from Lookman, Osimhen (2) and Akor Adams sealed a 4-0 win.
It was a relatively straightforward victory for Eric Chelle's side, who could potentially face the Democratic Republic of Congo in the next stage of the competition, which takes place on Saturday.
However, it appears there could be an awkward situation to deal with ahead of that game against DR Congo, after vice-captain Osimhen hit out at teammate Lookman during Monday's win over Mozambique.

Shortly after the hour mark, Frank Onyeka passed to Lookman, who attempted to take on the opposition instead of passing to Osmihen – a decision that infuriated the Galatasaray striker.

Moments later, Bruno Onyemaechi and Akor Adams combined instead of passing to an unmarked Osimhen, who reacted by throwing his arms in the air.
The ball soon went out of play for a corner and, despite Wilfred Ndidi's best efforts to stop him, Osimhen proceeded to square up to Lookman before Mozambique defender Reinildo was even forced to intervene.
Osimhen then signalled to the bench that he wanted to come off. He was replaced by Moses Simon in the 68th minute.
After the referee blew his whistle for full-time, the majority of Nigeria's squad formed a huddle on the Fez Stadium pitch in Morocco, but their vice-captain was not involved after walking straight down the tunnel.
In fact, Osimhen left the dressing room before anybody else and sat on the coach by himself, according to The Athletic.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, Nigeria manager Eric Chelle was asked about the incident involving Osimhen and Lookman.
“This is the question about my management. What happened on the pitch will stay in the group. I don’t need to tell you what happened or what will happen. I will keep that to me,” he said, as per Legit.
“Everything that happens in the life of the group will stay in the life of the group."
