Victor Osimhen may finally get his Premier League move as a surprise club has entered talks to secure a move just one week before the season opener.
After an exciting summer of football with the World Cup, the 2025/26 Premier League season is now just a week away, as reigning champions Arsenal face newly-promoted Coventry in the opening fixture.
As always, the summer transfer window ahead of the season starting has been exciting for clubs across the top-flight, with several big player securing moves.
Twice this summer we've seen the British transfer record broken, first by Elliot Anderson's £116million move from Nottingham Forest to Manchester City and then by Morgan Rogers joining Chelsea from Aston Villa for £117m.

But now it appears perhaps an even bigger move could be in the works, as Osimhen could finally move to the Premier League as Arsenal has entered discussions with Galatasaray over a blockbuster move.
According to The Telegraph, Osimhen came up during discussions the Turkish giant's interest in Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.
So far this summer, Galatasaray have made a £38.4million offer for Martinelli, who looks to be sidelined in 2025/26 following the signing of Christos Tzolis, and expressed an interest in Nwaneri.
During discussions over both moves, the possibility of Osimhen moving to Arsenal was discussed, although it is unclear if it was Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta who mentioned the Nigerian star or if he was offered as part of Galatasaray's pursuits.
The report claims that Arsenal hold a long-standing interest in Osimhen, but view him as second to top target Julian Alvarez in their search for a new striker this summer.
But with Atletico Madrid holding to their massive valuation of over £100m for Alvarez, signing Osimhen may be more palatable for Arsenal, especially if it can come as part of a deal for Martinelli and Nwaneri.
The 27-year-old scored 22 goals and provided eight assists in 33 appearances for Galatasaray last season.

Victor Osimhen makes final decision on joining Arsenal
Throughout his career, Osimhen has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, with Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea reportedly keen on a deadline day move ahead of the 2024/25 season.
It therefore comes as no surprise that the striker is reportedly eager to make the move to Arsenal should the Premier League champions agree a deal with Galatasaray.
However, to do so it is likely that he would have to accept a sizeable pay cut, with his current contract reportedly earning him £308,000 a week.
If he were to join Arsenal on such a high wage, he would immediately become the club's highest-earner, surpassing Bukayo Saka's £300,000 a week salary, while earning £108,000 a week more than last summer's striker signing Viktor Gyokeres.
In fact, £308,000 a week would actually place Osimhen third on the enitre Premier League's salary list, behind only Virgil van Dijk (£350,000) and Erling Haaland (£525,000).
