Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are not resting on their laurels and are looking at major investment in the club following back-to-back promotions.

The Welsh side made history at the weekend, as their sensational 6-0 victory against Forest Green Rovers secured the side's promotion to the third tier of English football for the first time.

It was a jubilant atmosphere at the Racecourse, with fans flooding the pitch at full-time to celebrate.

This victory represents the latest milestone in their success story under Hollywood owners Reynolds and McElhenney, who took over in 2021.

Despite the huge success since the takeover, it is understood that the club aren't going to stop anytime soon and there are plans to expand the club and brand as much as possible.

Speaking to OLBG Wrexham goalkeeper Mark Howard confirmed the ambition of the ownership.

"It’s not and has never been just a short-term thinking. The owners have tried to improve every aspect of the town, let alone the club. That’s for everyone to see," He explained.

The goalkeeper who only made seven appearances in the league this season, revealed there are plans for a brand new training ground.

"We are constantly improving and evolving. The dressing room has been renovated, the physio room has been done up and the ground now has a new stand. They are constantly looking to find a new training base," Howard revealed.

"It’s all top quality. They also want to build with the academy to develop and bring in players and they want to improve the women’s game as well. Nobody is standing still.

"The club has been on a journey since I joined so to be part of that story has been epic. There’s a big media wrap around because of the two owners but it’s been amazing to be part of. It’s a club that is building and will only get bigger and better," He concluded.

With Wrexham flying up the footballing pyramid everyone at the club is optimistic it can continue, but Ben Tozer wants to remain realistic. "I don't see why the club can't but at the same time, let's just enjoy this one while it's here and take the next one as it comes," He explained. said, speaking via talkSPORT.
