Wrexham are planning three signings ahead of next week's transfer deadline, including a potential record-breaking deal.
The Welsh side are aiming to secure their latest promotion this season, having achieved three consecutive promotions.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac harbour Premier League ambitions, with Phil Parkinson's side mounting a Championship play-off charge.
Wrexham beat Queens Park Rangers 3-2 last Saturday as Oliver Rathbone scored a stunning long-range strike in the 95th minute.

They moved into the play-off spots as a result, occupying sixth place ahead of resuming their campaign against Sheffield Wednesday.
Once Saturday's league fixture is in the books, Reynolds and Mac have just two days to finalise any deals before the winter transfer window slams shut.
Having splashed the cash last summer - signing the likes of Kieffer Moore and Nathan Broadhead, Wrexham hope to reinforce their squad ahead of the second half of the season.

According to a report from The Athletic, Wrexham are chasing three additions before next Monday's transfer deadline.
While the report hasn't specially named the club's targets, they remain in talks with Angers over forward Sidiki Cherif.
A fee of £19 million, which would be a record signing in the Championship, has been mooted as Parkinson jetted out to France to watch Cherif in action.
He's not the only attacking option on Wrexham's radar as they are also thought to be keeping tabs on Southampton's Adam Armstrong.
That's according to journalist Alan Nixon, who claims a transfer would be worth around £15 million.

Wrexham have already parted ways with James McClean, leaving a gap in the squad, with Parkinson eager to add to his squad.
Asked about new signings this window, Parkinson said: "We've always got to look.
"We've got a couple of options, but we've got 27 or 28 players training, we've got a lot of numbers.
"Jimmy (McClean) opens up a place, so we'll just assess it as we go along over the next few days."
Despite recruiting 13 new players in the summer, spending more than £30 million in the process, it appears Wrexham are still in the market for new talent.
With the transfer deadline looming, it remains to be seen whether Reynolds and Mac can bring in the right players to aid their promotion charge.
