Major concern for former WWE star as fans worried he has 'joined a cult'
Huge concerns have been expressed about former WWE star Keith Lee after claims he has effectively joined a cult.
Lee signed with WWE in 2018 and won both the NXT Championship and NXT North American Championship.
Tipped to be the next big powerhouse in the main event scene, Lee made a splash in the main roster with a victory over Randy Orton and was in WWE championship contention.
He left in November 2019 and later joined rival promotion All Elite Wrestling, where he is still contracted despite having not wrestled since December 2023.

Lee has been dealing with injuries and a recent divorce but there has been major worries about his wellbeing after a picture of he and Darius J. Wright was shared.
Wright describes himself as a "consciousness explorer” and has a teaching method called, 'Awaken Your Dormant Abilities' (AYDA).
Wright has expressed a number of controversial opinions, including that the Egyptian pyramids were created using "laser technology", the earth is flat and that vaccines "put a filter over your soul".
In a rare post on social media, Lee, sporting a grey beard, posted a picture of he and Wright, tagging him and sharing the link to his website.

The post racked up two million views on social media and immediately fans worried about what Lee has got involved in, with many replying, "cult".
Those concerns were echoed by WWE legend D'Von Dudley, who directly addressed Lee in an appearance on DukeLovesRassling podcast.
Tag-team specialist Dudley was not fully informed about what AYDA is but sent a message to Lee and even mentioned false prophets.
He said: "But I hope that brother, I hope what I’m hearing isn’t true and to get out of this cult.
“But again, only until you actually go through what you’re going to go through with this cult, if it is a cult, it’s the only way you’re going to realize when something goes wrong that it’s bad news.”
All I’ll say is, Brother Keith Lee, listen, man. We’re fans of yours, bro. Whatever it is that’s going on, you can’t replace God with man.”
“So, if you’re, if you’re on some kind of spiritual journey and you need a spiritual awakening, there are paths to get there.”
“Now, I’m not telling you to pick any religion. I’m just telling you to pick God. And you can take that anywhere you want. But man ain’t God. Just know that.”
Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer had said in July that he was told that Lee was done with professional wrestling.

But he refrained from mention the details about Lee's real-life direction, which he stresses is not a gimmick.
"Whatever this is with Keith Lee, it's not some gimmick," he stated.
When I this summer talked about how the belief was that he had retired – I didn’t say it then because I didn’t have a lot of details but I was basically told about this. That being that whatever this AYDA is, whoever this Darius J. Wright is, I mean, I was basically told Keith is all in on this. He is all in... It’s not a gimmick. He’s deeply into this and that appears to be at least his foreseeable future."
