Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac are reportedly ready to spend big on deadline day as Wrexham could move to complete four signings before the window closes.

No matter what people think about Wrexham and the club's astronomic rise through English football, it cannot be denied that they are nothing if not ambitious.

Since the arrival of Hollywood owners Reynolds and Mac in September 2020, the pair have helped elevate the club from the National League up to their current position of sixth in the Championship.

With a position in the play-offs now well within the club's reach, Wrexham have been busy in the ongoing transfer window, completing six deals so far.

But it appears that Reynolds and Mac aren't done yet, as the Welsh side are in negotiations to complete four more transfers on deadline day.

So far, much of Wrexham's business in the transfer window has been focusing on outgoings, with club veteran Paul Mullin, Conor Coady and Andy Cannon leaving on loan while captain James McClean and striker Jake Bickerstaff secured permanent moves.

However, Wrexham secured their first singing of the window on Sunday as they completed a move for Bristol City defender Zak Vyner in a deal believed to be worth £1.5million.

And now, their focuses will remain solely on incomings, with Wrexham set to potentially spend around £5m on four moves in the coming hours.

Throughout the window, Wrexham have been linked with several options at right wing-back, with Issa Kabore, currently on loan from Manchester City, struggling with regular injuries.

Portsmouth's Terry Devlin is believed to be the top target for the Red Dragons, with a deal worth around £2m said to be in the works ahead of the window closing at 19:00 GMT.

But the Northern Irishman isn't the only right wing-back linked with Wrexham, with a report from podcast RobRyanRed claiming that there is also a growing interest in Ireland international Festy Ebosele.

The 23-year-old is currently playing for Istanbul Basaksehir but has previous experience in the Championship with Wayne Rooney's Derby County.

Wrexham are believed to be working on a loan move for Ebosele, with West Bromwich Albion also interested.

Alongside defensive reinforcements, Wrexham are reportedly looking at brining in new faces in their attack, with a report from The Star claiming that Sheffield Wednesday forward Bailey Cadamarteri will complete a medical at Wrexham before the deadline.

Wednesday have reportedly resisted interest from several clubs throughout the window but are willing to accept Wrexham's deadline day deal to raise funds, with the fee believed to be in the region of £1m.

Finally, Wrexham are believed to be interested in Barnsley's Davis Keillor-Dunn, who had a brief spell with Wrexham in 2020, with The Daily Mail reporting that a potential fee would be north of £2m.
