Ryan Reynolds has opened up on a distressing phone call from a Wrexham player in the middle of the night over the club's documentary.
Wrexham have shot to fame since Reynolds and Rob Mac took control of the club in 2021.
Reynolds and Mac have steered the club from the National League to the Championship, securing three consecutive promotions during their spell in charge.
Television series Welcome to Wrexham has played a big part in the club's global expansion, with the show documenting the club's rapid rise, while offering behind-the-scenes access.
It has been a huge hit on Disney+, but one Wrexham player rang the Hollywood A-lister in a state of panic over a brief scene in the documentary.
Reynolds revealed that a player called him at 2am worried that a moment featured in the show's opening credits could affect his personal life.

Reynolds confessed he was taken aback by the urgent call, especially considering he was deeply involved in overnight editing sessions on the Deadpool and Wolverine film at the time.
He did not reveal which player made the request or the content of the footage they had removed.
"I remember there was an issue on Welcome to Wrexham where a player had some kind of issue. He was freaking out because there was something in the opening credits that would upend his life in some way," the 49-year-old said while speaking at The Wall Street Journal's CMO Council Summit.
"I'm not getting into it, but he called me so upset and said, 'Can you please get this thing out of the credits?' I was like, 'Man, in Poland, someone is watching this show right now. You don't just pull something off streaming, edit it and then put it back up'.
"He's like, 'Please, please, just try'. It was two in the morning, I was editing Deadpool and Wolverine at night and shooting a movie in the day. I'm at my wits end, but I asked. It turns out I was dead f**king wrong. You can actually pull something down and you can edit."
Welcome to Wrexham has just finished its fourth season and is already set for a fifth after winning multiple awards, including eight Primetime Emmy Awards and two Critics' Choice Television Awards.
