
Liverpool and Manchester United have both been given the green light to complete a major €70 million signing before the transfer window closes, fresh reports claim.
Deadline day is approaching and both sides are desperate to make further signings in order to strengthen their squad.
Liverpool are pushing hard to sign a new winger and are chasing Yankuba Minteh and Bradley Barcola, while United have snapped up a trio of midfielders in Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Carlos Baleba.
In need of reinforcements in areas, fresh reports from Spain claim that they Liverpool and United have received encouragement regarding Barcelona defender Jules Kounde.

Kounde played 48 times last season as Barca won La Liga but his situation has changed for the new campaign and El Nacional reports that he could well be on the move.
Hansi Flick has decided that Eric Garcia is ahead of him in the pecking order as he feels he offers more in the role, while Xavi Espart was also given the nod at right-back in the opening La Liga fixture away at Elche.
The France international is not prepared to play second-fiddle and wants to feel a level of importance, continuity and receive what he believes are earned minutes in the Barca side
That is not currently guaranteed at the Nou Camp and so it is understood that a departure may be the best solution for all parties.
The player is said to be willing to move on if it is the best move for his career, with Barca also open to offers but only bids that meet their valuation of €70 million euros.
Highly experienced Kounde joined Barcelona from Sevilla in 2022 and has played 189 times for the Blaugrana.
Kounde has been linked with Liverpool and United and his versatility could be appealing.
