HoodGaming, real name Steve Hood, ended up going viral for when he decided to get rid of striker Marlon Jackson, with the club forced to pay out a fee of £12,000 in compensation.
The decision was made out of spite, with the FM fanatic not exactly enjoying Jackson's company when they were younger.
FM is known for its realism and there have been examples of players responding on direct messages to those who were managing the footballer in a virtual capacity on the game.
"This is a really interesting one. I went to school with this guy. Marlon was in my year at school.
"I personally thought he was a bit of a n**head. Sorry Marlon. Bye."
Star brutally released on FM is still playing in lower leagues
Born in 1990, Jackson came through the academy at Championship side Bristol City but played just five times for the Robins.
Instead, he was sent on loan at Hereford United, Aldershot, Northampton, Cheltenham and AFC Telford United.
He proceeded to sign permanently for Hereford before going on to represent Bury, Halifax Town, Tranmere Rovers, Oxford City, Newport County, Gloucester City and Chippenham Town.
He also had two spells with Weston-super-Mare, the latest of which saw him score an impressive 39 goals in 85 appearances.
The 35-year-old striker is still playing for Yate Town, playing in the Southern Premier Division.

Jackson, who shares his name with a member of the Jackson 5, has never responded to the release from his ex schoolmate Hood.
On FM24, Jackson wasn't exactly the most iindispensable player in Hood's squad. His 'current ability' was rated at 55, with a potential of improving to 68 and he had a one-and-a-half star rating.
With a personality described as "fairly professional" on the game, Jackson was best used as a target man and earned around £250 per week.
