Kobbie Mainoo could leave Manchester United in the final week of the transfer window due to his lack of minutes in the Premier League this season.
On Sunday evening, United failed to hold on to what would have been their first win of the season as a an own goal from Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz was ruled out late teammate Emile Smith-Rowe's goal just seconds after he came off the bench.
After the match, United fans on social media criticised manager Ruben Amorim's decision to once again leave young star Mainoo on the bench, having also neglected him in the season opener against Arsenal.
Amorim later spoke out to explain his decision not to involve the Englishman, further frustrating fans.

But now, it appears that Amorim leaving Mainoo out for both of United's Premier League fixtures could come back to haunt him as a new report has claimed the youngster could leave the club in the coming days.
With just one week left in the summer transfer window, several of the biggest clubs in the Premier League remain active organising both incomings and outgoings.
One of the clubs expected to be particularly busy is United, who will look to sell several players before the window closes on September 1.

Although players like Jadon Sancho and Rasmus Hojlund are believed to be on the top of United's list of ideal departures, fans would not have expected Mainoo to be on the transfer list.
But, according to a report from talkSPORT, Mainoo would now consider leaving his boyhood club in the final week of the transfer window if a suitable offer was to arrive.
As it stands, the 20-year-old's contract with United is set to expire in 2027, with negotiations over an extension said to have stalled.
With that in mind, it may be in United's interest to allow him to leave in the coming days should they receive an offer that matches their valuation, therefore helping them deal with any future PSR concerns.

Following the 1-1 draw with Fulham, footage showed Mainoo looking frustrated about missing out on playing once again, leading to Amorim addressing the situation in his post-match press conference
"He is fighting for the position now with Bruno," Amorim said.

"And I change to two midfielders, I left Mason Mount there because we want to score a goal and when I change I felt the team needs to have one holding midfielder near Bruno.
"So he just needs to fight for the position with Bruno like it should be at Manchester United."
