Manchester United fans think that one star player's future at the club may be over following the 1-1 draw with Fulham.
On Sunday afternoon, Manchester United travelled to Craven Cottage to face Fulham in their second game of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
After their impressive performance in the 1-0 loss to Arsenal in their season opener, United fans were hopeful that their side could secure their first win of the season in London.
However, it wasn't meant to be as the match ended as a 1-1 draw after a goal from late Fulham substitue Emile Smith-Rowe just seconds after he came off the bench ruled out an own goal from teammate Rodrigo Muniz earlier in the second half.

And immediately after the match, United fans took to social media to claim that one player's time at the club could be over for one specific reason.

During United's opening fixture against Arsenal, many fans questioned Ruben Amorim's decision to bring Manuel Ugarte off the bench in the 65th minute to replace Casemiro.
Instead, fans suggested that young talent Kobbie Mainoo should have been given a chance to impact the game, something that they again called for during the clash with Fulham.

However, after Amorim one again decided to leave the Englishman as an unused substitute, some fans took to social media to claim that his time at the club could be finished.
Posting on X, one fan wrote: "I think I've just accepted the fact that mainoo has no future at united as long as Amorim is in charge."
While another agreed, adding: "Amorim seems determined to try everyone in central midfield except for Mainoo. Becoming a curious situation."
And one claimed: "I’m getting a bit worried about Mainoo. I understand Ugarte’s good for putting a foot in but if it’s a calm head keeping possession, Kobbie’s your man."

Mainoo's last appearance for Manchester United came during the 2-0 win over Aston Villa on May 25, as he came off the bench to play 45 minutes.
Several clubs have been linked with a move for Mainoo in recent months, including Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, but with just one week left in the transfer window, it appears unlikely that he will leave this summer.
