Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move to a shock club after rejecting a transfer to Serie A side Roma earlier in the window.

After spending last season on loan with Chelsea and the second half of the previous season playing for former club Borussia Dortmund, it seems almost certain that Sancho will leave United this summer.

The England international has been linked with several clubs across the summer transfer window after United made it clear that he is not in their plans for the ongoing season.

Sancho is just one of several high profile players expected to leave the club before the window closes on September 1, with Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund also linked with high-profile moves.

And now, it appears we might know exactly where Sancho is headed as a European giant is reportedly considering making a late move for the winger.

The first club to formalise their interest in Sancho this summer was Italian side Roma, who submitted an official proposal to the 25-year-old that would have seen United receive around £20million.

However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sancho's agent also informed AS Roma of their decision not to accept the proposal as Sancho wanted to explore other options on the table as they came in later in the window.

But it appears he could be about to receive his biggest offer yet, as a report from Sky Sports Germany confirmed that Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are considering making a move for Sancho late in the window.

The report claims that Bayern director of sport Max Eberl is still planning to make one or two new signings before the end of the transfer window, and Sancho's name is on the list.

Alongside Sancho, United teammate Hojlund is reportedly on Bayern's radar, alongside Arsenal's Fabio Vieira and Paris Saint-Germain forward Marco Asensio, who impressed while on loan at Aston Villa last season.

The German champions are said to be in talks with several players, but it is not yet clear who exactly is being prioritised.

However, the report does state that a move for Sancho, while possible, remains unlikely this window.
