Jadon Sancho has posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, for the first time since calling out Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho has sealed a return to Borussia Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season after a public falling out with Ten Hag.

The Dutch coach questioned Sancho's effort levels in training following a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in September.

Ten Hag left the 23-year-old out of the matchday squad entirely, which saw Sancho claim he was a 'scapegoat' in a now-deleted statement.

He refused to apologise to his manager and was barred from using first-team facilities at the club's Carrington training facility.

Sancho went radio silent on social media until Wednesday evening when he reactivated his Instagram account and changed its profile picture to him in yellow socks.

The England international has now sent a simple message to his 2.2 million followers on X, which reads: "2024, let’s go!"

He attached a photo of himself wearing his new number 10 shirt at Dortmund, pointing to his name on the back.

Sancho joined United from Dortmund in a £72 million transfer in 2021 and failed to establish himself as a regular under three different managers.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was the man to bring Sancho in after chasing his signature for over a year.

Despite thinking he could take United's attack to the next level, Sancho failed to score or register an assist in Solskjaer's 14 games as manager in his debut campaign. The Red Devils legend was sacked in November of that year.

Solskjaer recently addressed his decision to sign Sancho, admitting he plays better off the left, where United are well-stocked with Marcus Rashford.

He told The Athletic: "Yes, I wanted to sign him. Manchester United will never sign a player the manager doesn’t want.

"That’s not the case everywhere. Jadon was put up as the No 1 target for the right-wing by the scouts and when you look at his talent, I could see why.

"Unfortunately, it has not worked out. When he arrived, he had to go to hospital and that was a setback as he couldn’t start the first games.

"He’s immensely talented and we haven’t seen the best of him. I hope we do, but he prefers to play left wing… where Marcus plays."
