Jadon Sancho had a telling response when asked to sign a photo of him in a Manchester United shirt.

Sancho has been banished by Erik ten Hag at Man United as he trains away from the first-team at Carrington.

The 23-year-old, who has been linked with a stunning return to Borussia Dortmund, took pictures with fans at the club's training base following a session.

He stopped his car and spent time with young supporters, with one of the fans presenting him with a gift.

Sancho was given a sticker of himself in a Red Devils shirt, but the fan's father said: "He might not want the one with United on."

To which the star winger replied: "I don't mind."

Sancho's answer got Man United fans talking as they made their feelings clear.

One X user wrote: "That is too funny, but his response was naah i dont care. I am sure he has a soft spot for United, just not with ETH."

A second tweeted: "Saying he don't care just shows he still has a soft spot for Manchester United, just not with ETH."

A third added: "I don’t see how you claim to love this club and not fight for your place. Easily gave up. Might as well run along."

A fourth said: "Should never be allowed back at Man United again."

Another commented: "He seems a nice lad, but his attitude is the problem, that and I think premier league football is just a bit too fast/physical for him. I genuinely hope he does well back at BVB."

Sancho remains the subject of intense transfer speculation, with a host of clubs thought to be keeping tabs on his situation ahead of tabling an official bid this month.

He's made just three appearances this season and has not played since his side's win over Nottingham Forest back in August.
