Manchester City have reportedly made a call on Jack Grealish's future after he was ruled out for the remainder of the 25/26 season.
Back in the summer of 2025, Grealish was loaned out to Everton after falling down Pep Guardiola's pecking order.
Since joining the Toffees, the 30-year-old has shown glimpses of what he is capable of, scoring twice and assisting six in 22 appearances across all competitions for David Moyes' team.
However, following the 1-0 win over Aston Villa last month, Grealish had been out with a foot injury.

It has since been confirmed that Grealish underwent surgery and will miss the remainder of the campaign.
Taking to social media, Grealish wrote: "Didn’t want the season to end like this, but that’s football, gutted. Surgery done and now all focus on getting back fit.
"I know for sure I will come back fitter, stronger and better than before. The support I’ve had since coming to this unbelievable club has meant the world to me."
He added: "The staff, my teammates and especially the fans have been incredible and I absolutely love representing this club.
"I’ll be backing the lads all the way and doing everything I can to get back as soon as possible. Thank you again for all the love, it means so much."

Looking ahead, it has been claimed that City have made a decision on Grealish's future.
According to Team Talk, City are looking to loan Grealish out again next season despite the player entering the final year of his deal, with Everton said to be at the front of the queue.
In addition, with just one year left on his contract, Grealish could join Everton on a free transfer at the end of the 26/27 season as he is said to be keen on staying with the Toffees.
Speaking at the end of January, Moyes was asked about Grealish's situation.
He said: "These situations would normally be taken over by the parent club. I think that at the moment we’re going to probably control most of Jack’s situation."
Everton are back in Premier League action on Tuesday night when they take on Bournemouth at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
