Liverpool are set to take drastic action against Mohamed Salah after his damning comments following the draw with Leeds United.
On Saturday afternoon, Liverpool had yet another damaging result as they drew 3-3 with Leeds United at Elland Road.
Hugo Ekitike put the visitors 2-0 up shortly after half-time but a reckless challenge from Ibrahima Konate gave Leeds United a way back into the game, leading to the two sides splitting the points.
As if the result wasn't bad enough, things got even worse for Liverpool manager Arne Slot as star player Salah, who was named on the bench for the third game in a row, condemned the club and Slot in a shocking post-match interview.

And now, it appears that Liverpool have decided how they will react to Salah's comments ahead of their crucial Champions League clash with Inter Milan.

On Tuesday night, Liverpool will travel to the San Siro stadium for what could be a must-win game for Slot, who faces mounting pressure over his future as manager.
But it appears the team will travel to the game without Salah as the club have decided to remove him from the matchday squad in a response to his comments following the match with Leeds.
According to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins, both Slot and the Liverpool board have come to the decision that Salah will not be or the squad for the game against Inter and will not travel to Italy.
In a conflicting report for The Athletic, David Ornstein claimed that the decision regarding Salah's participation against Inter is not yet made, but it is currently expected that he will be excluded.
He claims that the decision will ultimately be made by Liverpool's sporting director Richard Hughes and the club’s ownership.
Should he be left out, Liverpool will not view the exclusion as disciplinary action, with the step instead seen as an isolated decision that will have no influence on Salah’s possible selection going forward, including Saturday's Premier League meeting with Brighton.

Speaking immediately after the Leeds United draw, Salah told reporters that his relationship with Slot had suddenly broken down in recent weeks, for reasons unknown to him.
The 33-year-old argued that his current situation at Liverpool is unacceptable, claiming that he had been 'thrown under the bus' by the club, and left the door open for a January transfer, just eight months after signing a two-year extension to his Liverpool contract.
However, Ornstein has reported that Liverpool have insisted that they remain fully committed to Salah and his contract, and feel that the current situation can be resolved without having to plan for his exit next month.
Slot himself it yet to comment on Salah's interview, but it is expected that he will address it during the press conference ahead of the Inter match on Monday evening.
