Arne Slot made a controversial claim about Liverpool's performance against Leeds United after the disappointing 3-3 draw.
For the second time in four days, Premier League champions Liverpool drew with a newly-promoted side, as their match with Leeds United ended with a scoreline of 3-3, further adding to their long list of disappointing results this season.
After a first half that ended with the scoreline at 0-0, the Reds came out of the changing rooms firing as summer signing Hugo Ekitike scored two goals in just over two minutes to set up what looked to be a comfortable win.
However, a clumsy challenge from Ibrahima Konate allowed Leeds to get back into the game through a penalty, with the scoreline eventually ending as 3-3 thanks to another late equaliser from Leeds substitute Ao Tanaka.

The result piles further pressure on Liverpool boss Slot, who made a surprise claim about the match when speaking to the media.

Just months after leading Liverpool to the Premier League title, Slot is facing massive uncertainty around his future as manager given the club's current form.
Liverpool have won just two of their last 10 matches in the English top-flight and currently sit eighth in the Premier League table.
Despite this, Slot claimed that his side played well at Elland Road and largely brushed off what will no doubt be viewed as one of the most damning results of the season so far.
"There's a sense of disbelief. I think we played quite well or very well during large parts of the game and we went 2-0 up," Slot claimed post-match.
"I don't think we had any problems, and I don't think we conceded a chance until the moment we made a foul, which is not even a chance.
"It's not about me. It's about us, it's about the fans. The players have worked so hard, and to concede from a set-piece again - the 10th or 11th this season."

He added: "To go away with a 3-3, I don't think that's what we deserved.
"We can only look at ourselves because we are the ones that are doing it. That's the situation we are in."
The reaction didn't go down well with fans, with many calling for the manager to take more accountability for the result, criticising his defensive substitutions after Dominik Szoboszlai restored Liverpool's lead late in the match.
