Harry Kane is ‘trying to convince’ an England teammate to make the move to Bayern Munich, either in January or at the end of the season.
Marc Guehi's current deal expires next summer, and club side Crystal Palace have previously confirmed that the centre-back will leave the Eagles, either in the New Year or once his contract runs its course.
Guehi was close to a £35m deadline day move to Liverpool back in September but Palace pulled the plug on the deal at the 11th hour as they failed to bring in a replacement.
The Reds are expected to return for Guehi next month, though are unlikely to match their £35m offer for the centre-back, with some outlets suggesting Palace would be prepared to sell for £25m.

The Premier League champions did bring in a centre-back over the summer, as they secured the services of Giovanni Leoni from Parma.
Leoni, though, suffered a season-ending ACL injury on his debut for Arne Slot’s side as Liverpool claimed a 2-1 home win over Championship side Southampton in the EFL Cup earlier this year.
Liverpool, however, aren’t the only side credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, who has a number of potential suitors across the continent.

Reds face competition from European heavyweights
One of those is Bayern, with Kane now doing his best to convince Guehi to switch London for Munich.
Guehi is able to negotiate a pre-contract with overseas sides from January 1st that would see him move for free next year, though Palace are hoping to bring in a fee for their captain.
Bayern, who top the Bundesliga, have been tracking Guehi for weeks now and are hoping they can land the England star ahead of European rivals Liverpool.

La Liga pair Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been monitoring Guehi as the race for the defender hots up.
Los Blancos had previously been linked with a move for Liverpool centre-back Ibrahima Konate, who, like Guehi, is out of contract in the summer.
It’s since been reported that Real Madrid won’t be pursuing a move for Konate, and may instead turn their attention to Guehi.
Palace looking to follow up midweek win with another three points
Guehi caught the eye of Palace in midweek as the Eagles secured a 1-0 win at relegation-threatened Burnley as they bounced back from their 2-1 home loss to Manchester United last weekend.
And the Eagles will hope to make it back-to-back league victories when they make the short trip across the capital to face London rivals Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon.
Bayern, meanwhile, are currently eight points clear at the top of the Bundesliga ahead of Saturday’s game at VfB Stuttgart as they aim to extend their lead at the summit of Germany’s top tier.
