
A select group of players from the Bundesliga have taken part in an anonymous survey that features a range of different topics, including the best attacking player in Europe this season.
The annual survey, conducted by German publication kicker, gives 216 footballers from all 18 Bundesliga clubs the chance to have their say on some of the game's most debated discussion points.
Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha, for example, was voted the biggest disappointment among Bundesliga outfield players, while Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz was named the most impressive outfield player, receiving 28.2% of the vote.

Away from Germany's top tier and Lamine Yamal was named the best attacking player in European football this season.
The teenager, who notched 18 goals and 25 assists in all competitions for La Liga champions Barcelona this season, received 53.7% of the vote, beating Ousmane Dembele (6.9%) and Kylian Mbappe (6%) to first place.
Lamal's teammate Raphinha, who has previously been tipped for the Ballon d'Or, finished fourth in the standings with 4.6% of the vote.

So, what about those from England's top division? Liverpool forward and Premier League player of the season Mohamed Salah came in fifth place with 3.7%, while Manchester City striker Erling Haaland followed after receiving just 2.8% of the vote.
As well as forwards, the 216 footballers from the Bundesliga gave their thoughts on the world's best defenders and goalkeepers, with centre-back Virgil van Dijk coming out on top after receiving 27.3% of votes. PSG shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma came out on top with 38%.
Hansi Flick, meanwhile, was voted Europe’s best coach of the season for his achievements at Barca.
The German received an impressive 31.9% of the vote, ahead of Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique, who lifted the Champions League on Saturday with a win over Inter Milan.

Xabi Alonso, Pep Guardiola, Arne Slot, Simone Inzaghi, Carlo Ancelotti and Mikel Arteta also received a share of the votes, as seen in the picture below.
