Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly told Liverpool exactly who they want to be included in a swap deal for star player Florian Wirtz.
With the transfer of Dutch defender Jeremie Frimpong already confirmed, Liverpool's business in what is expected to be a very busy transfer window is already underway.
Coming off the back of winning the Premier League title in Arne Slot's first season as manager, the Reds are believed to be targeting several big players, including Frimpong's former Bayer Leverkusen teammate Wirtz.

Several reports have claimed that the Bundesliga side are looking to receive t €150million (£126m) for the German international, but recently it has been claimed that they would consider offering him as part of a swap deal.
And now, Leverkusen have reportedly made it clear to Liverpool which two players they would consider taking in a spectacular swap deal for Wirtz.

Throughout the early days of the transfer window several Liverpool players have been linked with moves away from the club in order to make way for new signings.

One of these players, is young forward Harvey Elliott, and according to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, he is one of the players that Leverkusen are considering signing to replace Wirtz.
Despite impressing during his appearances under former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, the 22-year-old appears to have fallen out of favour with Slot, leading to rumours that he will leave in the summer.
The Englishman made a total of 28 appearances in all competitions for the Reds last season, however many of them have been as a late substitution.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were believed to be the most likely destination for Elliott following recent reports that they were considering submitting a bid, but if he can help secure a deal for Wirtz, Liverpool will almost certainly offer him to Leverkusen.

But Elliott isn't the only player that Leverkusen are reportedly considering requesting from Liverpool, as Plettenberg also claimed that they may ask for Jarell Quansah to be included in the deal for Wirtz.
Like his teammate, Quansah is believed to be one of the players that Liverpool would be open to selling in the summer should a suitable offer come in.
The English defender has previously been linked with Newcastle United, but it remains unclear if the Premier League side will renew their interest this summer, potentially opening up the door for a move to Germany.

Quansah has made 25 apperances for Liverpool this season, with 13 of them being as part of the starting lineup.
