Jeremie Frimpong has already given his verdict on Trent Alexander-Arnold which some Liverpool fans might appreciate following the Anfield academy product's decision to leave the Merseyside club.
Frimpong has signed for the Premier League champions for a £29.5m transfer fee from German side Bayer Leverkusen, and will spend the next five seasons at Anfield.
He has become the first signing of the summer for Arne Slot's outfit and is likely to fill the void left by Alexander-Arnold's departure and compete with Conor Bradley for a place at right-back.

Upon joining Liverpool, Frimpong said: "It went quite easy. Liverpool came and said they had interest, and obviously for me it was a no-brainer.
"I spoke to the manager a few times.
"When a manager is talking positively about you, it gives you very good confidence that he believes in you. I've had good conversations with him.

"Even when I was at [the] national team, some of the Feyenoord boys would tell me about him and be like: 'He's the best coach I've ever had.'
"Now he's going to be my coach, so I'm excited for that."
Leaving Anfield is England international Alexander-Arnold, whose contract at the Merseyside club runs out this summer, and the 26-year-old is moving to Real Madrid after he agreed a six-year deal with the La Liga side.

He was due to join Real when his Liverpool deal expired at the end of June, but Xabi Alonso's side have paid the Anfield outfit £8.4m to have the defender a month earlier so he can play for his new club in the FIFA Club World Cup later this month.
Upon announcing his departure from his boyhood club, Alexander-Arnold said: "I think first and foremost, I want to say it’s not an easy decision and there’s a lot of thought and feeling that has gone into it.
"I’ve been here 20 years now, loved every single minute of it, achieved all my dreams, achieved everything I’ve ever wanted to here.
"Giving everything day in, day out for 20 years, I’ve got to a point now where I feel like I need a new change, a new challenge for me as a player and as a person. And I think now is the right time for me to do that."

Alexander-Arnold was booed by sections of the Anfield crowd when he came off the bench against Arsenal last month as Liverpool supporters gave their verdict on the academy product's decision to leave the club.
Though he is yet to play for his new club, former Bayer Leverkusen man Frimpong has spoken about Alexander-Arnold in the past, which is likely to endear him to parts of the Anfield faithful.
Frimpong was previously asked by GOAL to start, bench and sell one of Alexander-Arnold, Dani Carvajal and Achraf Hakimi.
The Netherlands international opted to start Real Madrid star Carvajal, bench PSG man Hakimi, and sell Alexander-Arnold.
