Trent Alexander-Arnold has been offered a potential escape route from Real Madrid after four Premier League clubs have been mentioned as interested in his services.
The 28-year-old right-back is in his second full season at Los Blancos after joining the Santiago Bernabeu side from hometown club Liverpool in the summer of 2025.
Real paid a reported transfer fee of up to €10m to sign Alexander-Arnold in order for the defender to join Real earlier than the end of his Liverpool deal and play in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, instead of waiting for him to arrive on a free transfer.
He left Anfield after winning two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FA Cup, two League Cups, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup before heading to the Spanish capital.
Left as unused substitute in Real win over Sevilla
Though a mixture of injuries and form, Alexander-Arnold is yet to experience the highs he did at Liverpool with the La Liga giants.

The 36-time England international has only made 41 appearances across all competitions for Real and was last night left on the bench as an unused substitute by Jose Mourinho in the 4-1 La Liga victory over Sevilla.
Arda Guler put the hosts ahead before a brace either side of half-time from Kylian Mbappe put Real firmly in the driving seat, the second of which came from the penalty spot.
Summer signing Yan Diomande scored Real's fourth as full-time approached, with Manu Bueno earlier netting what would prove to be nothing more than a consolation for Sevilla.
Mourinho opted to play Uruguay midfielder Federico Valverde at right-back ahead of Alexander-Arnold, although the Real head coach admitted it was 'not easy to leave two quality right-backs on the bench'.
However, having started just three of Real's nine La Liga matches so far and being an unused substitute in four of these encounters, it raises questions over Alexander-Arnold's long-term Real future.
Quartet of Premier League sides 'monitoring' Alexander-Arnold
Alexander-Arnold has a contract at Real until the summer of 2031, though reports have emerged suggesting a return to England and the Premier League could be on the cards at some point.
According to TEAMtalk, though the defender is happy in the Spanish capital, he is 'growing frustrated' by his lack of game time and is said to be 'considering his future' at the club.
A total of four Premier League sides are 'keeping a close eye on developments' and these include Alexander-Arnold's former side, Liverpool.
The other sides mentioned are Premier League title rivals Arsenal and Manchester City, as well as Champions League hopefuls Chelsea, who are now managed by Alexander-Arnold's former boss at Real, Xabi Alonso.
Bundesliga giants - managed by Man City legend Vincent Kompany - are also reported to be monitoring Alexander-Arnold's situation.
Though Real are not said to be forcing the defender out of the club, they would consider a 'reasonable offer' for Alexander-Arnold if one does arrive, with the defender having almost five years remaining on his current deal.
