A new report has revealed the alleged reason why Brooklyn Beckham has blocked his parents, former footballer David and Spice Girl Victoria, on social media.
Brooklyn, who is the oldest of the four Beckham children – Romeo, Cruz and Harper – has allegedly been embroiled in a feud with his parents since 2022.
Former Manchester United winger David and his wife Victoria, who is a former member of girl band the Spice Girls, were first married in July 1999, before Brooklyn’s first birthday.
And the Beckham family, at least publicly, always appeared to be a tight-knit group and would regularly be spotted together.
However, in recent years, rumours of an alleged family feud involving the 26-year-old have surfaced, with reports suggesting that a disagreement about his wife Nicola Peltz’s wedding dress was the catalyst.
Brooklyn started dating American actress Peltz in 2020 before tying the knot in Palm Beach in April of 2022.

A source told PEOPLE that Nicola previously said wearing a dress designed by her husband’s mother would ‘be her honour’ and that she’d ‘love to wear one of her originals’.
Following the occasion, Brooklyn was absent from his father’s 50th birthday party in Florida back in May of 2025.
Later in 2025, Nicola and Brooklyn renewed their vows in front of around 200 guests, but the Beckham family did not attend and instead were on holiday in Saint Tropez.
Fast forward to December, and Brooklyn was nowhere to be seen on his parents’ social media posts throughout the Christmas period, as he chose to enjoy the festivities in the US with his wife and her family.
Meanwhile, a report from the Mail last week claimed that “there was an exchange of legal letters” between Brooklyn and his parents via their legal teams, Schillings and Harbottle & Lewis.
The 26-year-old reportedly made clear that he didn’t want his parents to contact him or make public statements about him.

A separate report published by the Mirror on January 11 suggested that the decision to send the legal letter was to “protect his mental health”.
The outlet alleged that Brooklyn had told his close friend that posts from his parents had “impacted him” and that he’d rather reconcile “privately” away from the public’s gaze.
“It had been leading to issues with his mental health…. it was to protect himself,” a source claimed.
Over Christmas, David posted a black-and-white photograph of his eldest son online. Brooklyn has since reportedly blocked both parents, with the pair said to be “devastated” by their son’s supposed legal request.
