The real reason why David Beckham's son Brooklyn reportedly did not attend his father's 50th birthday party has been revealed, it has been claimed.
Manchester United and England legend Beckham turned 50 on Friday, and held an A-list party on Saturday which was attended by a series of stars from the world of sport and celebrity.
Gary Neville was among Beckham's former team-mates to attend along with wife Emma, and was spotted leaving the venue in the early hours of the morning.

Meanwhile, Gordon Ramsay, Tom Cruise and Guy Ritchie were also present at the party in London.
His son Romeo, formerly of Brentford's B team, was also in attendance.
But the Daily Mail have reported that Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn was not present in London.

They claim that he flew back to the US with his wife, Nicola Peltz, before the party got underway - though was involved in a 'private smaller family event', a source close to the Beckhams claimed to the outfit.
His no-show is said to be nothing to do with the football legend, but rather a 'feud' involving Romeo's current girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.
TMZ claim that Brooklyn has 'questioned Turnbull's motives' for dating Romeo, having himself been in a relationship with her in the past.
It is then alleged that Brooklyn has decided not to attend any family gatherings where the British model and DJ is also present, though the Daily Mail claim, via friends, that the matter is related to his wife Nicola instead.

A source told the Daily Express: "David and Victoria already knew Brooklyn wouldn't be at the big party in London.
"Brooklyn had already celebrated [with] his dad at a private smaller family event. Nevertheless both Victoria and David were disappointed that it has got to this."
SPORTbible has contacted Brooklyn Beckham's representatives for comment.
