David Beckham's 'secret gesture' to his son Brooklyn was instantly rejected, according to a new report.
Brooklyn, 26, is the eldest of David and Victoria Beckham's four children.
He has been married to American actress Nicola Peltz since 2022.
Rumours of a feud between Brooklyn and his parents began surfacing in May 2025, when the Daily Mail reported that Brooklyn decided not to attend his father's 50th birthday party in London.

TMZ claimed that part of the feud centred around model and DJ Kim Turnbull, who is dating Brooklyn's younger brother, Romeo.
The outlet allege that Brooklyn - who previously dated Turnbull himself - has decided not to attend family gatherings where she is also present, though conflicting reports say the matter is related to Nicola's feelings about the model instead.

But the saga has taken various turns in recent months, with David and Victoria said to have been absent when Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their vows in August.

Their third son, Cruz, wrote on Instagram last month that Brooklyn had blocked both his parents on Instagram, as well as Cruz himself.
A source 'close to the Beckhams' said (as per LBC) that David and Victoria 'will always support Brooklyn if and when needs it'.
Nonetheless, the Mail report that there was 'an exchange of legal letters' between Brooklyn and his parents over the Christmas period, via their legal teams.
It is alleged that Brooklyn said he didn't want either of his parents to contact him or make statements about him on social media, though there was no legal action involved in the letters.

The Sun now claim that David and his family invited Brooklyn to celebrate his knighthood investiture in November.

The Manchester United legend was named on the King's 2026 New Years' Honours list.
And he is said to have 'extended an olive branch to Nicola' by inviting her to the evening dinner.

However, Brooklyn believes that the invitation was 'another example of his parents' gaslighting' by inviting him to a PR opportunity - even though, from David's side, he is said to have 'simply wanted to see his son on one of the biggest days of his life'.
Brooklyn spent the Christmas period with Nicola's family in Florida, with the American actress said to 'remain his absolute rock' during the feud.
