Deji wants 'dream' bout against Justin Bieber on KSI vs. Jake Paul card

Deji wants 'dream' bout against Justin Bieber on KSI vs. Jake Paul card

Deji is eyeing a bout against Justin Bieber ahead of his exhibition against Floyd Mayweather.

YouTube star Deji is eyeing a dream fight against Justin Bieber ahead of his high-profile exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather.

The 25-year-old will take on the former boxing pound-for-pound king at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai this weekend.

But the British content creator is looking beyond his bout against Mayweather, revealing his dream bout.

He wants to take on superstar musician Bieber on a card including KSI vs. Jake Paul.

Deji said: "Me vs Justin Bieber, that would be a massive win for me right. Yeah, me vs Bieber."

The chances of getting Bieber in a boxing ring appears extremely slim, but with the landscape of celebrity exhibition bouts - who knows?!

Before potentially clashing with the Canadian, Deji has the small matter of taking on Mayweather, who returns to boxing in the shape of another exhibition bout.

The 45-year-old called time on his legendary boxing career after beating Conor McGregor in 2017.

But he's returned to the ring for exhibition bouts against the likes of Tenshin Nasukawa and Logan Paul.

Speaking ahead of the contest, Deji joked that he hopes to land a punch against one of the best defensive boxers the sport has ever seen.

"I’m looking to land a punch," he said at the pre-fight press conference.

"That would be amazing of course against the best defensive fighter in the world. So, I’m looking to have fun, I’m looking to showcase my skills and show what YouTubers can do.

"Me being in there with Floyd is only going to enhance my skills in boxing and push me further up the ladder. Then I’m going to keep dominating the YouTube boxing scene after. Me fighting Floyd in itself is a big win, I’m not afraid of what’s to come. If you’re scared of getting knocked out, you shouldn’t be fighting."
