Jake Paul has released a statement confirming when he will be returning to the boxing ring, and it's sooner than we thought.
Nearly one year ago, Paul suffered a devastating knockout loss to former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua that placed his career in doubt.
However, it's now been confirmed that he's set to return to the ring at a surprise event on Christmas Eve in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Jake Paul comeback fight confirmed as statement issued
In a statement confirming the news, Paul wrote on X: "I've spent years proving people wrong, taking risks, and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I'd face.
"Nothing that's happened has changed my belief in myself or what I'm working toward. I'm hungrier than ever, and on Thursday, December 24, I'm returning to the ring in Dubai to start the next chapter of my journey.

"Dubai is a city that thinks big, breaks boundaries, and doesn't believe in limits. That's exactly the kind of place I want to make my comeback."
As it stands, it is not known who Paul will be facing in his comeback bout, but it is believed that several names are currently in contention to be his opponent.
"We've got plenty of names on the list; let’s see who signs the contract," Paul added
"Merry Christmas, Dubai. Santa Paul is coming to town, and somebody's getting knocked out."
The fight will be Paul's 15th professional bout, having already fought the likes of Mike Tyson, Nate Diaz and Tommy Fury.
Across his career, Paul has won 12 of his 14 bouts, with his defeats coming against Joshua and Fury, who won by sixth round TKO and decision respectively.
Who is rumoured to be Jake Paul's opponent for comeback fight?
Although the opponent isn't known, it's believed that former UFC star Darren Till is among the frontrunners after Nakisa Bidarian, who co-founded Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) with Paul, confirmed that talks had been held about the fight.
Till, 33, made his boxing debut last year and has recently been competing in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
In his last bout, Till won a unanimous decision over fellow former UFC title challenger Yoel Romero in September.
