
Floyd Mayweather has a strict tipping rule for pilots on his private jet that he believes everyone should follow.
Mayweather enjoyed a legendary professional boxing career before walking away from the sport in 2017.
He went his entire pro career undefeated, beating the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor.

The former pound-for-pound king fought under the apt moniker of 'Money' during the latter stages of his career, having previously been nicknamed 'Pretty Boy'.
He made millions during his storied career, bagging mega purses from his super-fights that generated a boat load of cash through gate receipts and pay-per-view revenue.
Naturally, Mayweather made plenty of outlandish purchases, including a private jet.
He purchased a Gulfstream G650 in 2018, which cost a whopping $50 million.

It is a white-coloured business aviation model and has several unique features, including up to four living areas.

Mayweather owns a couple of private jets after revealing he doesn't fly with his bodyguards.
The 48-year-old likes to fly privately and after every trip, he likes to tip his pilots.

In 2023, he revealed that he tipped his pilot $1,000 after they navigated turbulence.
Speaking in a video, Mayweather urged everybody who owns a private jet that they should always tip their pilots.
"Today, I tipped my pilots $1,000 apiece because it was kind of rough," he said.
"Everybody that has got their own jet, you've always got to tip your pilots no matter what."

Mayweather added: "I don't care if it's $200 or $2,000, you've got to tip your pilot."
Mayweather has a team of private pilots, and he sees them as family not just employees.
"I’ve built friendship with these guys, I don’t look at them as just employees, these are my friends, family," he explained.

"We talk, we communicate, they’re part of my life so they have to enjoy the experiences also. They can’t just fly and don’t be able to enjoy the experience."
