But it is this weekend's highly-anticipated YouTubers vs TikTokers event that will jump into the limelight and see a new generation of social media stars foray into the world of boxing - because apparently, that's what people want to see.
The biggest draw is a fight between YouTube's McBroom and TikTok's Hall.
In the lead up to this fight, the two have been slinging mud at each other across social media. Most recently, Austin mocked a mug shot of Bryce Paul from when he got arrested.
The pair also scrapped at their press conference last month and nearly clashed again in a recent brawl.
Both Bryce and Hall have since met during Saturday's weigh-in - and it was clear that there was no love lost between them.
Dubbed the 'Battle of the Platforms', the boxing event will have eight fights in total, including two in the free undercard segment, while six will be part of the major event.
You can watch the trailer for the event below, but be warned - you will, almost certainly, cringe.
With all that said, though, let's take a look at what we know about the event so far.
Battle of the Platforms is set to take place on Saturday, June 12 in the US.
It will be starting from 7pm (ET) on Saturday night, which means it will actually be getting underway in the early hours of Sunday morning in the UK.
The undercard is scheduled to start at 12am (BST) on Sunday, June 13 in the UK.
However, viewers will have to patiently wait for the main fight of the event, for example, the Hall vs McBroom fight.
Fans can watch the event live on pay per view basis on LiveXLive.
For the uninitiated LiveXLive is a streaming platform typically famous for live concerts.
Fans who have bought the ticket can watch the event in person at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The early sale price is $29.99 (£20), while the PPV is priced at $49.99 (£35).
Viewers can also buy additional add-ons like exclusive event T-Shirts and event hoodie. Also, note that each purchase of the event gives you six months free of LiveXLive services.
Aside from Austin and Bryce, there will be another seven fights on the card that night.
