WWE are reportedly set to make an unprecedented decision over a wrestler that hasn't appeared on television in nearly 18 months.
Former WWE tag team champion Omos last competed in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, which was held on the day before WrestleMania 40 in April 2024.
His last televised singles match was in May 2023, when he lost to Seth Rollins at Backlash.

He had previous competed in marquee matches against the likes of AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley.
The 7ft 3in giant spent this January with Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling NOAH, where he won the GHC tag team title.
However, he relinquished the belt at the end of the month and confirmed that he was heading back to WWE.
Now, after a further seven months of inactivity, WWE have finally come to a decision over Omos' future.
Where is Omos going?
According to WrestleVotes, WWE have discussed plans to send Omos to AAA.

The Mexico-based Lucha Libre promotion was acquired by WWE on WrestleMania weekend.
Last month, the first-ever WWE and AAA crossover event was held, with WWE stars Chad Gable, Stephanie Vaquer, Lola Vice and the Legado Del Fantasma stable among those competing.
The legendary Rey Mysterio also made a brief appearance, though could not wrestle due to injury.
It is claimed that WWE want to send Omos to the promotion to 'establish himself as a true special attraction outside the WWE bubble'.

Is Omos still under WWE contract?
Omos revealed last month that he signed a long-term extension to his WWE contract.

The news surprised fans, given his prolonged absence from television, but the giant told Gambling Industry News: "I'm really excited about what is to come. I've been training really hard and working on some things and I think it's going to be a really fun ride ahead, especially because I just signed a renewal with WWE and will be there for years to come!"
If or when Omos does make a return to WWE television, he will do so without former on-screen manager MVP.
MVP, who wrestled under the full ring name Montel Vontavious Porter, was released by the company in August 2024 and joined AEW, where he aligned himself with former WWE colleagues Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley.
