Daniel Cormier appeared to leak Alex Pereira’s UFC Freedom 250 pay packet while trying to make a bet with the Brazilian.
UFC Freedom 250 will take place on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., on Sunday (June 14), with a number of exciting match-ups on the card.
In the main event, lightweight champion Ilia Topuria defends his crown against interim champion Justin Gaethje.
Sean O’Malley faces Aiemann Zahabi in a bantamweight clash, while Derrick Lewis takes on Josh Hokit in the heavyweight division.

Meanwhile, Pereira is set to face Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title. The Brazilian is vying to win a belt in a third division, having previously held the middleweight and light heavyweight straps. No fighter has ever won the title in three different weight classes.

If “Poatan” does overcome Gane, he will no doubt enter the greatest-of-all-time conversation alongside the likes of Jon Jones, Georges St-Pierre and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
And while the chance to make history awaits Pereira, it appears his bank balance will also be significantly increased after his appearance at the White House.
Cormier 'leaks' Pereira's pay
During the build-up to the Gane fight, the South American sat down with former UFC star-turned-commentator Cormier, with “DC” attempting to agree a bet with Pereira about the ongoing 2026 World Cup.
Pereira tried to put £20,000 on Brazil progressing further than the USA during the tournament before eventually agreeing to wager £10,000, with Cormier joking: “He’s the only fighter on the White House card making $10 million.”
Pereira will be able to further increase his earnings by landing the increased fight bonuses, with UFC president Dana White announcing the largest bonuses ever on Friday (June 12).
White explained that the promotion will award $400,000 to each fighter in the Fight of the Night, as well as handing out $425,000 to those who put in the most impressive individual performance.
The finish bonus will remain at $25,000.
“World Liberty Financial will serve as a presenting partner and are adding another $250,000 to bonuses for the fighters that night,” White announced.
“Two fighters who earn Fight of the Night are going to earn $400,000 each.
“Then the two Performance [of the Night] bonuses will get $425,000 each. Congratulations everybody, good luck.”
The UFC bonuses were previously just $50,000 before being doubled at the start of 2026 following widespread complaints from fighters.
