Rock band Green Day launched an attack on Donald Trump's administration as they sent out a message to ICE ahead of the Super Bowl.
The huge game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks takes place at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara and will be the 60th fixture in Super Bowl history since it was introduced in 1966.
Having become the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl last year, Trump will not be present this time around and has been incredibly vocal about Bad Bunny being selected as the act for the half-time show.
Trump branded Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio "a terrible choice" for the performance and "absolutely ridiculous".

The Puerto Rican artist and actor, who has wrestled for WWE, performs in Spanish and has been critical of the immigration policy adopted by Trump and his government.
He refused to tour the US mainland in 2025 and had a long-term residency in Puerto Rico.
After winning Album of the Year at the 68th Grammy Awards, he sent a message to ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) following the recent killings of US citizens Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good and said: "Before I say thanks to God, I'm going to say ICE out. We're not savages, we're not animals, we're not aliens – we're humans.”
Bunny is not the only Super Bowl act to call out ICE. Californian punk rock band Green Day will perform at the opening ceremony and just days beforehand, lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong blasted ICE at a special invite-only show put on by FanDuel and Spotify on Friday, calling their agents to quit the job before the administration drops them "like a bad f***ing habit".
“To all the ICE agents out there, wherever you are, quit your sh***y-ass job," Armstrong said on the mic at San Francisco’s Pier 29.
"Quit that sh***y job you have. Because when this is over — and it will be over at some point in time — Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, JD Vance, Donald Trump, they’re gonna drop you like a bad f***ing habit. Come on this side of the line.”

Armstrong also said, "This goes out to Minneapolis," prior to performing the song 'Holiday' and for the hit track American Idiot, changed the lyrics to, "I’m not part of the MAGA agenda” instead of original words which said, "redneck agenda".
He has also regularly led fans into anti-Trump chants at gigs.
Green Day's pre-Super Bowl performance is poised to celebrate the history of the game and “usher generations of Super Bowl MVPs onto the field".
