A Fox Sports host has been blasted online for what was deemed to be an "unhinged" post in the wake of the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis.
On Saturday afternoon, 37-year-old NCU nurse Pretti was pronounced dead after being shot multiple times by federal agents during a targeted immigration enforcement operation.
Eyewitnesses stated that Pretti had walked towards an ICE agent who pushed a bystander to the ground and was pepper sprayed.
It's said he was then wrestled to the ground as he tried to help the bystander before one agent, who is said to have worked for Border Patrol for eight years, opened fire and killed Pretti.

The US Department of Homeland Security claimed that Pretti was carrying a Sig Sauer P320 9mm pistol, of which he had a legal permit to carry - and “violently resisted” when officials made attempts to disarm him.
Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said that the agent fired "defensive shots" after "fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officer".

Those claims were strongly disputed by Pretti's family, who said "Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs" and that "he has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed".
The shooting took place just over one mile away from where 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good was shot on January 7.
NBA star Tyrese Haliburton took to X after the killing and wrote, "Alex Pretti was murdered" - while Chicago Sky's Angel Reese said she was "Praying for our country".
Chris Broussard, a host for Fox Sports, also weighed in on social media with a bizarre post that many could not get their heads around.
Taking to X, the NBA analyst and 'First Things First' co-host wrote: "If u can't clearly & boldly state the craziness of Democrats being unable to define what a woman is & saying men can get pregnant, AND the madness of Republicans defending the murder of Alex Pretti, then you're following a political party/ideology & not The Lord Jesus Christ."

In response, one user said the post had "absolutely unhinged correlation" and another said that the comment "completely misses the mark!".
A third person accused Broussard of posting "a disturbing false equivalence", while another blasted the 57-year-old for "a moronic tweet".
President Donald Trump said his administration are "reviewing everything" into the fatal shooting and protests featuring hundreds of people took place near the scene of where Pretti was shot, while a memorial was also created.
Minute silence interrupted with anti-ICE chant at NBA game
Following on from the tragedy, the NBA game between the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Golden State Warriors was postponed and rescheduled for Sunday, with the NBA stating the decision was made to "prioritise the safety and security of the Minneapolis community".
The game took place a day later, with the Warriors prevailing 111-85 in a match coach Steve Kerr called "one of the most bizarre, sad games I've ever been a part of".
A minute silence took place before the action on the court and just seconds into it, a number of fans in attendance at the Target Center erupted in chants of "'F**k ICE".
