US President Donald Trump has revealed whether he’ll be in attendance at Super LX in Santa Clara on February 8.
With the NFL Championship Weekend upon us, fans will soon find out which teams will contest the NFL’s showpiece event next month.
The winner of the Denver Broncos’ clash against the New England Patriots will play either the Seattle Seahawks or the Los Angeles Rams in the 60th edition of the Super Bowl.
In line with tradition, not only will supporters be treated to the on-field action, but performances from notable artists will also form part of the occasion.

Bad Bunny, who has been a vocal critic of Trump and the Trump administration, will play the half-time show while Green Day, who it’s fair to say are also not the President’s biggest fans, will perform at the opening ceremony.
Thirty-one-year-old Bad Bunny, who performs mostly using Spanish and was born in Puerto Rico, has previously boycotted performing in the US, citing fears that ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) would raid the event.

Meanwhile, just last week, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said he was “not part of the redneck agenda” before going on to add that he’s also “not part of the MAGA agenda”.
So, despite the artists who are scheduled to perform being fierce critics of Trump, will the president attend the Super Bowl as he did in New Orleans in 2025?
Speaking to the New York Times, the 79-year-old offered his thoughts on both Super Bowl acts and described himself as being “anti-them”.
“I think it’s a terrible choice,” he said.
“All it does is sow hatred. Terrible.”
Trump then revealed that he will, in fact, not attend the Super Bowl at Levi’s Stadium in California due to logistical reasons rather than musical.
“It’s just too far away. I would. I’ve gotten great hands for the Super Bowl, they like me,” the President added.

“I would go if, you know, it was a little bit shorter.”
Super Bowl half-time performers are chosen by the NFL with input from Apple Music and Roc Nation – a company founded by rapper and producer Jay-Z.
Bad Bunny will be the first Latin American male to perform at the halftime show.
