Anti-ICE protests have hit Milan as the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony begins in the Italian city.
Hundreds of protestors have hit the streets of Milan to protest against ICE as Team USA arrives for this year's Winter Olympics, with the opening ceremony taking place on Friday at the San Siro.
Despite the Olympics being used as a force to unite nations across the world, tensions in the US have overshadowed the build-up to this year's games.
Following the recent killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good by ICE agents in Minneapolis, the Milan mayor Giuseppe Sala called the US group “a militia that kills”.

Athletes competing in the games have already made a stand against the organisation, with Team GB star Gus Kenworthy writing “F*** Ice” with urine in the snow.
Donald Trump will not be in Italy to see the protests first hand, but vice president JD Vance and secretary of state Marco Rubio will be after attending a Team US hockey game.
Vance and Rubio are accompanied by ICE agents as their security, which has added fuel to the fire of protestors.
Footage of one of the protests during the opening ceremony shows a group holding a banner which includes the Olympic rings with the words 'know your enemy' emblazoned in the centre.
One protestor named Giacomo Calvi told AFP news he was protesting against the US “anti-immigration police, which are carrying out all kinds of violence in the United States”.
Katie Legare, who was raised in Minnesota but is studying abroad told Reuters via alijazeera: “I thought that this was a good opportunity to show that the rest of the world is not OK with what’s happening in Minnesota."
