FIFA 21’s First Official Trailer Drops During EA Play Live
Publisher EA hosted the gaming extravaganza on 18th June after initially delaying the event by one week in the wake of the 'Black Lives Matter' movement.
And now fans can check out their first look at the eagerly-awaited FIFA instalment below.
During EA's Q4 2020 earnings call last month, the gaming publisher hit out at rumours that FIFA 21's release could be delayed amid the coronavirus impact.
"We have a long history of creating spectacular sports content that's not directly dependent or reliant on the real world of sports," EA CEO Andrew Wilson said.
EA COO and CFO Blake Jorgensen added: "We know today people are engaging with sports because that's what they love to do.

"If you are a sports fan, it doesn't stop, and so the only way they're getting their sports engagement is through our games, and that's a huge benefit for us."
Early rumours have hinted that Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne could follow in the same footsteps as Virgil van Dijk and Eden Hazard by becoming FIFA 21's cover star.
EA Sports has also revealed plans for a timeline to share details behind several modes, including Ultimate Team and career mode.
News surrounding FIFA 21's features will be announced in August, EA Sports confirmed in a tweet on Wednesday.
