Steph Curry is one of only two players in NBA history to pass Shaquille O'Neal's 'hate test' and it proves his greatness.
Curry is regarded as one of best players in NBA history following his incredible exploits on the court.
Fans and critics alike believe the Golden State Warriors star has entered the GOAT conversation along with the likes of Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
O'Neal is a big fan of Curry and rates him very highly despite initially being on the receiving end of his skepticism.
Ever since 'Shaq' called time on his iconic NBA career, he's made a name for himself as a pundit who is highly critical of modern players.
Speaking on his podcast, he explained that Curry and Luka Doncic are the only two players who have passed what he calls his 'hate test'.

He kept doing it. 'That sh*t lucky'. Then you get to a point - alright, this motherf**ker can play. I used to hate Luka until I saw him play. I was like, 'This motherf**king white boy alright'."
O'Neal, who played against the likes of Jordan and Kobe Bryant, continued by emphasising how rare it is for him to compliment today's players.
"Remember, I’ve played with some of the greatest, so there’s not a lot of new sh*t that you can do. But if you do it consistently, and then level up, I’ll give you props," he added.
O'Neal heaped special praise on Curry, referencing his physique compared to James.
"You know why I love Steph Curry? Because I’ve never seen that before," he explained. "If you saw Steph on the street, he doesn’t have LeBron’s muscles, he’s not 6’9', 6’10'. He looks like a perfectly normal office guy. And he’s doing things people have never seen before."
O'Neal's glowing praise of Curry and Doncic shows how well the NBA stars have performed in the league.
