A former NBA star has claimed Steph Curry 'would only rank two players above him' as the debate about the greatest basketball player of all time continues to rage on.
The GOAT conversation is one of the most hotly contested topics in basketball, with fans holding wildly differing views.
Michael Jordan is considered the greatest by many for his dominance with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s, winning two separate three-peats.
Others point to Kobe Bryant, who spent 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers and won five titles.

Meanwhile, LeBron James is now in his 23rd NBA season, as he continues his pursuit of a fifth ring with the Lakers.
But some basketball fans argue that Golden State Warriors icon Curry has had more of a transformative impact on the sport than James.

Curry has revolutionised scoring through his unmatched three-point shooting, making more than 4,100 throughout his career.
Speaking on The Big Podcast with Shaq, former NBA star Carmelo Anthony claimed that Curry would only rank two players above himself in the GOAT conversation.
Anthony began by saying: "How are you going to tell me, if you're talking about the GOATs, how are you going to sit there and tell me Steph is not in that conversation?"
Former MVP Shaquille O'Neal replied: "I said that before."
Anthony continued: "You can't sit there and tell me."
O'Neal interjected again: "I said that and people clowned me."
Anthony then expanded on who he believes Curry would place above himself in a list of all-time greats.
"In Steph's eyes, think about what Steph probably thinks," he explained.
"It's Mike [Michael Jordan], it's Kobe [Bryant] and then it's me.

"Right? He's not gonna put Bron over himself, but he has every legitimate argument."
Curry has previously been asked where he sees himself in the GOAT debate.
Back in 2022, he was asked to pick between himself and Jordan, to which he replied: "Mike, I love you man but it's me."
Curry was then asked to choose between himself and James and he said: "What do you expect me to say, it's me."
Just last month, James spoke positively about Curry, pointing to the variety of ways in which he is able to score points.
Speaking on Mind the Game, he added: "Steph, I'm getting off the ball.
"And it's gonna find me because the energy, the energy that I'm gonna drag out for our team and for the fear of the opponent, it makes them the greatest.
"It makes him the greatest shooter of all time and one of the greatest threats in NBA history."
