Lewis Hamilton has continued to put his side of the story across in the press following his Mexico GP incident with Charles Leclerc, with some speculating that this was his attempt to establish himself as the No. 1 Ferrari driver.

Team boss Frederic Vasseur was forced to call a meeting with the two in Brazil, with the importance of Ferrari being put first emphasised.
"They are two competitors with the fighting spirit for sure, but they need to have respect for the other one.
"But mainly and firstly, they need to respect the brand, the team, the people working at home, the people working on track.”
What was said between Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc
Following a qualifying session run in treacherous wet conditions, Hamilton was asked for his view on the meeting and what Vasseur had said.
“Fred [Vasseur] hasn't cleared the air in the sense of like me and Charles,” he said.
“We [Lewis and Charles] sat and spoke, and we squashed it, and we're moving on.
“I think we still have a huge amount of respect for each other, and I'm glad we had a chat, and now we move on.
“We've been getting along just fine as normal. So sometimes in those scenarios, it just takes having a conversation, and there's been no demands from either side.
“It's just been giving our points and areas that we can do better and support each other.”
Hamilton’s conciliatory tone struck some contrast to his comments after Mexico and at the start of the Brazil weekend.
"The guy's 28 years old, so I don't think it's an age thing,” he said. “I think it's a mentality thing. It's like 'do or die. Like either I win or none of us do', and it shouldn't be that.”

However, Charles Leclerc has also said that the pair have moved on.
“It was really good to discuss all together,” he said.
“Obviously, for me, it’s been a bit of a crazy week, and positively, because I became a father for the first time, so we didn’t necessarily have time to discuss.
“I think discussing whatever is left, or whatever frustration is left, was needed. Now I feel it’s fully settled, and I don’t think we should be speaking about it too much going forward.”
