LeBron James had three different responses when asked who would be his perfect partner to take on Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen in a dream 2v2 game.
Four-time NBA champion James has regularly been compared to Jordan after following in his footsteps in becoming a phenomenon and trailblazer on the court.
Because they played in different eras, James and Jordan never crossed paths in the NBA - despite the odd interaction at basketball games and events.

And in 2022, James was asked which player he would select to go up against Jordan and Pippen in a tag team type scenario.
Likened to Batman and Robin, Jordan and Pippen are arguably the greatest duo in NBA history and won six championships - two different three-peats during the glory days at the Chicago Bulls.
Even though it appears as though they weren't exactly the best of friends away from the court, the pair had a special chemistry on it and were a devastating double act in their pomp.
During a Q&A which he held on Twitter, now known as X, in May 2022, SB Nation asked 'King', "If you had to choose one teammate (past or present) in a 2v2 to play against MJ and Scottie Pippen, who are you choosing?".

James swiftly mentioned the late great Kobe Bryant, as well as Kyrie Irving - who he played with for the Team USA basketball team. He also included his former Cleveland Cavaliers' colleague Kevin Durant, who he shared a 2016 championship win with.
"Kobe, KD or Kyrie," was the reply from former LA Lakers and Miami Heat star James, whose answer went viral online.
His answer could well change in the near future after James linked up with Slovenian sensation Luka Doncic, who joined from the Dallas Mavericks in a stunning trade at the start of the year.
LeBron James revealed what relationship he has with Michael Jordan
Jordan once remarked that James "could play in any era" in a complimentary comment but there doesn't appear to be much of a relationship between the pair of basketball titans.

However, James believes that the simple reason for a lack of friendship is because he is still an active player in the NBA at the age of 40.
"Yeah we're in a good spot," the four-time NBA champion said in an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.
"We don't talk. Because I'm still playing. I'm still focused on my craft right now. I would hope so.
"Me and Kobe never had a real relationship either - until we were on the Olympic team. We had a great relationship there - Olympic team '08 and Olympic team '12."

He added: "I think it's because I'm still playing. We all know MJ. Even if you don't know him personally, he is one of the most ruthless competitors there is.
"Until I'm done and he doesn't have to look at me running up and down wearing the No.23 and every time my name is mentioned it's mentioned with his, he's like, 'Don't talk to me right now!'."
