NBA legend Michael Jordan has named the four current basketball players who he thinks are generational talents who should be appreciated more.
Having incredibly won six NBA championships and achieved several personal accomplishments, including being a five-time MVP and six-time NBA finals MVP, Jordan is viewed by many as the greatest NBA player of all time.
Since retiring from basketball for the third and final time in 2003, Jordan has remained involved in the sport and recently agreed to become 'a special contributor' on NBC's coverage of the NBA next season.

And, according to one report, a key reason why he's agreed to do so is because he wants to set the record straigh on the four current stars that he argues haven't been given the praise they deserve.
According to Fadeway Sport, when Jordan agreed to be a contributor for next season, he didn't do it just for a big paycheck, but also because he 'wanted to change the narrative' around the sport.
A source said to be part of the negotiations for Jordan joining NBC claimed: "Mike told us flat-out. If hearing it from him is what it takes for these fans to stop disrespecting guys like LeBron, Steph, or even Harden, then so be it. He wants the game to move forward.

“Fandom has gotten so warped. They hate today’s game, but still watch every second. They say it’s not physical enough, but they ignore how advanced players have become. And they use Jordan like a weapon in every conversation. It’s delusional."
The NBA legend is said to have his rival in the GOAT debate LeBron James alongside Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic as the four stars that he believes are generational talents that fans do not appreciate enough.

“This era has some of the most skilled players we’ve ever seen. It’s time fans start appreciating that," ,” Jordan reportedly told one producer.

“If I say it’s okay to call these guys great, maybe my fans will listen. Maybe then they’ll stop tearing the game down."
The report further claimed that Jordan wants to move the conversation around the sport away from the GOAT debate and more towards appreciating players currently in the NBA.
