Teenage NBA Prospect Abiodun Adegoke Has Reportedly Grown To 7-Foot-11-Inches Tall

His continued growth means he's the tallest known basketball player in history.

When we last checked-in with Abiodun Adegoke back in 2021, he was a 7-foot-9-inch internet sensation destined for a bright future in the NBA.

Two years on and he's said to be still growing.

According to multiple reports, including his personal Wikipedia page, Adegoke has grown by two inches – meaning he is now 7-foot-11-inches tall.

Despite still being a teenager, the Nigerian athlete is already four inches taller than the legendary Manute Bol who was the tallest player to ever play in the NBA.

Chinese star Sun Mingming, who is the largest known professional basketball player in history, stood at 7-foot-9-inches tall.

So yes, if Adegoke makes it as a professional some day, he'll enter the Guinness Book of World Records.

But it's not just his impressive height which has people talking.

Reports from The Guardian suggest the teenager also boasts size 53 feet.

That said, there continues to be speculation surrounding Adegoke's real age, with some statement saying he's still a teenager while other reports claim he's in his mid-20s.

Back in 2021, footage emerged of Adegoke dunking the ball with both feet still planted firmly on the court.

That's right, he's so tall that he doesn't even need to jump.

The video sent basketball die-hards around the globe into meltdown with NBA fans urging their team to snap him up.

In new footage posted by Instagram page High On Hoops, Adegoke can be seen dominating inside the paint, picking up every rebound and scoring effortlessly as he towers over his opponents.

One of the clips within the Reels compilations shows him producing a brilliant, inch-perfect pass to find his teammate down the other end of the court.

Naturally, some critics would question how technically-sound Adegoke is given his sheer stature, but this lad actually looks like he can play.

Even in videos posted onto his own Instagram page, Adegoke claims to be 7-foot-11-inches.
