UFC president Dana White gave an interesting response when asked whether he’d appear alongside Joe Rogan’s ‘most-requested’ podcast guest.
White, 55, and Rogan, 57, are long-time colleagues with their relationship dating back to the early days of the UFC during the 1990s.
These days, both men are highly successful, with White acting as CEO and president of the UFC and arguably being a celebrity in his own right, while Rogan is a hugely successful podcaster, commentator and stand-up comedian.
As of today (July 21), The Joe Rogan Experience has had over 2600 episodes, including chats with Donald Trump and Elon Musk, as well as combat sports icons Jon Jones, Israel Adesanya and Tyson Fury.

But one man, despite huge demand from fans, has yet to appear on the podcast.
Former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor previously requested an invitation to appear on JRE in March 2025.

He wrote on X: "What’s up @joerogan my man I messaged you! Are you looking for a guest on the podcast? I have a great one for you!"

The Irishman has not fought since he sustained a loss against Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
He was scheduled to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 but was forced to withdraw due to injury.
And the year that followed has been turbulent.
McGregor was found liable for the assault of Nikita Hand in a Dublin hotel six years ago, following a lengthy civil court case in the Republic of Ireland back in November 2024.

Then, in June 2025, a video of him appearing to punch a man in an Ibiza nightclub emerged online.
Earlier this month, he was spotted ‘kissing’ a mystery woman on a beach with his long-term partner and fiancée, Dee Devlin, nowhere to be seen.

And with the controversies damaging his reputation, the general public is seemingly switching off at the thought of McGregor returning, which at the moment, seems highly unlikely.

So, what better way to catapult yourself back into the media spotlight than appearing on the world’s popular podcast?
Following UFC 318, one reporter asked White if he’d be up for accompanying McGregor during a potential appearance on JRE but his response was not what fans may have wanted to hear.
The reporter asked: “How big is the possibility that we ever see a podcast from Joe Rogan, you, and Conor McGregor?”
White replied: “Probably never. Probably never.”
