
Conor McGregor has finally broken his silence after he became involved in a physical altercation with a man in an Ibiza nightclub on Tuesday.

McGregor, 36, has been on the Spanish Balearic island of Ibiza in recent days and found himself in a spot of bother on Tuesday.

The Sun released a video which appeared to show the UFC star throwing two punches towards a fellow club-goer before several onlookers intervened.
Witnesses have since come forward and recalled what they saw.
One witness told the Sun: “Clearly something’s been said to annoy him and he’s reacted very badly.
“The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away.

“There [didn't appear to be any] consequences for Conor, but the guy he punched was taken away, and I didn’t see him again.”
While another added: "Someone came up to them and when Conor hit him, about five people fell to the floor as the guy stumbled back.

"It was a bit like bowling pins, but the guy was really shaken by the hits.
"About a minute later, the bouncers came and got him on the back and took him out of the club, because he had annoyed Conor.
"It was right before close anyway. There was no messing around; they just removed him.
"Conor left through the garden a bit later; he didn't look very happy that they got into a fight."

And fans have been eagerly anticipating McGregor’s next social media post following the unsavoury scenes in Ibiza, and yesterday evening the MMA fighter broke his silence with several posts.
At 11:32 pm, McGregor posted a tweet on X which read: “You won’t speak bad about my country and its people and that’s ever. Vote McGregor.”
A couple of hours later, he posted several photographs of himself, including one with a group of men to his Instagram story, alongside a snap of himself underneath a photograph of Al Pacino in the 1983 film Scarface, which appeared to be taken in a nightclub.
