Days after all of the fighters in Dana White’s UFC competition were offered a $120,000 annual sponsorship sum by online crypto casino Gamdom, he’s already eyeing up a $10 billion deal.
The UFC’s deal with Paramount, a seven-year contract that runs through until 2032, is worth $7.7 billion, $1.1 billion annually, but the competition’s CEO wants more.
Earlier this week, Gamdom, an online crypto casino, penned an astonishing open letter to all UFC fighters, offering them $10,000 each month, amid pay controversy in White’s competition.

“I want $10 billion after we get out of this deal” claims White, days after UFC sponsorship offer
White has been vocal about the UFC’s valuation, declaring it comparable to that of four major American sports organisations: the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL.

“This thing has gotten to a level now [where] my competitors are the NFL, Major League Baseball, the NHL, and the NBA,” claimed the CEO. “We did an $8 billion deal with Paramount.
“Right now, I don’t know this for a fact, but I know this for a fact. The NFL are a bunch of animals, right? As soon as that deal was announced, all the powers that be at the NFL got in a room and said, ‘there was $8 billion out there that we didn’t get.’
“Do you know why Paramount did a $7.7 [billion deal with the UFC]? Because they believe that we can impact their business,” continued White.
“Now, my job over the next five years is to make sure we do that, because guess what I want? I want 10 billion after we get out of this deal.”
His statements, made on the Diary of a CEO podcast, arrive days after Gamdom’s offer to sponsor all UFC fighters on $120,000 annual contracts.
Pay controversy in the competition has raged on throughout 2026; earlier this month, SPORTbible sat down exclusively with Tyron Woodley to discuss the issue.
And in September, another fighter, Bobby ‘King’ Green, revealed that he is currently homeless, amid financial issues provoked, allegedly, by his ex-girlfriend and friends.

How does the UFC compare financially to other sports leagues’ contracts and athlete salaries?
Two of White’s competitors, at least, in the CEO’s view, have secured eye-watering media rights deals. The NBA’s contract is worth $7 billion each year, while the NFL boasts a whopping $9 billion annual deal.
Elsewhere, the MLB announced three media rights deals in November 2025 with Netflix, NBC and ESPN that each average out to approximately $800 million each year - around $2.5 billion annually.
In the UK, the Premier League has media rights deals with Sky Sports and TNT Sports that pay out at £1.67 billion annually; additionally, it brings in $2.1 billion each year through overseas contracts.
NBC has the English top-flight tied down on a £378 million annual contract, in a six-year deal running through until 2028, and will soon face strong competition from other American networks.
Despite the Premier League’s various deals being worth a similar valuation to Paramount’s contract with the UFC, the annual salary of an English top-flight footballer is drastically higher.
According to Capology, the average salary earned by a Premier League footballer is well over £5 million annually, of 570 recorded wages; although, some take home dramatically more than others.
In the UFC, which contains an estimated 600-700 fighters, the average salary earned by an individual in White’s competition is £401,000 according to a 2022 study.
In the same year, the average Premier League salary was £7.8 million - 20 times that of a UFC fighter.
In a further breakdown, English top-flight footballers were revealed to, on average, make £205,000 each game, while a fighter in White’s competition made £267,000 each bout.
